The Ludlow and District Branch of the NCT are a very friendly and welcoming group of Mums and Dads.  They have a very busy diary of events, for families, Mums Nights Out and Dads Nights Out!!  Below is a list of dates for your diary, contact details of the committee and some of the features they have in the quarterly produced magazine, The Crib Sheet - Summer 2008.

The features in The Crib Sheet includes articles on A Twin Pregnancy, Eight VERY FUNNY tips for excercising or not! ,  Best and Worst Buys, Mum! I read a book! , Fun Summer Activities plus many other articles that are very interesting!  There is also a Top 5 places to visit.

Ludlow & District NCT are happy to announce another of their popular

Nearly New Table Sales.

 

 

Sunday 5th October at the Ludlow Leisure Centre.

10am to 12pm.
Anyone is welcome but there is a £1 entry fee on the door.

The last two sales have been very successful, with a wide range of new and second hand goods for families on sale. Some fantastic bargains to be had – let’s face it, little ones go through things so quickly and barely wear anything out, so why buy new when there are so many clothes and bits of equipment here which look as good as new! It’s doing your bit to reduce waste too, so you get to do some shopping and still feel smug and green into the bargain!

YOU DON’T NEED TO BE A MEMBER TO ATTEND THIS SALE.

 
We still have spaces available for businesses as well as non business, so if you know anyone that wants to sell their unwanted children's stuff then could you please let them know about the sale.I am organising the sale so they will need to pre-book their table space. First Aid Course

We will be running another of our popular Infant First Aid courses this autumn. The dates will be:

Bumps and Babies
Bumps and Babies sessions are primarily open to pregnant mothers and parents with small children, preferably under one year of age.  This is to provide an environment where the emphasis is on new babies, though not necessarily first babies

Events
After a wash-out summer when several events had to be cancelled, we’re hoping for a late spell of good weather this quarter. The summer barbeque did take place, luckily timed between the showers, and we had a great day, with a mixture of old and new NCT families, so many thanks to the Gurneys for hosting it. This quarter we’ve got the Halloween and Christmas parties coming up, as well a completely new set of venues for our children’s events. So, please do come along if you can – there are lots of new members who have recently joined and these events are a great way to get to know your local group.
